As one of its functionaries, the department of professional affairs through the Union Secretariat, has continued to try and resolve, mitigate and manage employee grievances and related challenges in the civil service and quasi- institutions. The various provinces have equally handled a good number of cases, others in the Union’s favour and some were lost.



The Union handles several cases in all the Ten (10) Provinces, ranging from administrative reprimand, suspension, dismissal. The Union has mostly scored reinstatements for those that were dismissed, pardon for those that were on suspension mishandled cases by employers, and indeed our legal team wins Court cases. Furthermore, timely communication is very important, as it allows the union to intervene effectively and provide the necessary support or resolution. Whether it's a matter related to workplace conditions, unfair treatment, or any professional grievance, we want to ensure that your voice is heard and addressed properly. We believe that an open line of communication between the workers and the union is essential for fostering a supportive workplace environment.
