UG Honours Nurses at the 2025 Nurse-Mid Annual Gala

The Zambia Union of Government and Allied Workers (UG) participated in the 2025 Nurse-Mid Annual Gala an event that celebrates the contributions of nurses and midwives.
As a key partner, UG highlighted the vital role nurses play in public service and presented awards to two outstanding nurses from Chilenje Level One Hospital and Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital.
Speaking on behalf of UG’s General Secretary Comrade John Nsululu, Director in charge of Membership and Mobilisation Comrade Burnwell Mulenga reaffirmed UG’s appreciation for the nursing profession and its commitment to continued collaboration. UG emphasized its dedication to recognizing public service workers, as it does annually on Nurses’ Day and Teachers’ Day, and reiterated its mission to support the workforce that drives national development.
