Medical Support

We offer medical support to members regarding their investigations and treatment needs as prescribed by the medical institution up to k2000. This package is only for contributing members, excluding their family members, and can be accessed upon the submission of a completed request form, latest pays-lip, and a prescription or service request form from the hospital. All services covered by NHIMA are not covered by the union.

The medical support we provide does not extend to services covered by the National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA), as members should utilize their NHIMA benefits for those needs. Additionally, cosmetic procedures or prescriptions, such as lenses or dentures, are also excluded from our coverage. We want to ensure that our medical support serves the crucial health needs of our members effectively. UG aims to relieve some of the financial burdens associated with health care costs and to support our members’ overall well-being.
